There are two types of machine available - the Rocket QD makes fog that disperses quickly (PS21), and The Rocket makes long-lasting fog (PS23). The fog generators are also available with two control options. The Basic option allows you to operate the unit off-mains power - you can produce a considerable amount of fog 'off power' using the retained energy within the high mass heat exchanger, allowing you to carry the generator around, making fog as required, without a trailing electrical lead. After being on mains for around 15 minutes, the fog machine will generate large amounts of fog for around 2.5 minutes whilst off power. There is also the Remote control option unit which comes with a remote control (but cannot be used off-power). These are two separate machines - you cannot attach a remote to the basic control machine retrospectively. Connected to the mains, all these units can operate continuously at full output. In service with numerous fire authorities world-wide, many NATO forces (including for shipboard training), as well as analytical laboratories, asbestos removal specialists, and HVAC contractors, these fog machines have a reputation for simplicity of operation and reliability. These units are ideal for when you require extremely dense concentrations of fog, or extremely large volumes need to be filled with fog. This is because fog produced is very persistent. The high power version generates even more fog than the normal models and is one of the most powerful hand held fog generators available today.

PS27 Dragon High Output (2.2kW) Fog Generator
Ideal for:
The pump draws fog Fluid A (persistent) or fog Fluid B (quickly dispersing) from its integral 2 litre reservoir (or an external reservoir also available), forcing it into the unique precision machined heat exchanger, where it is vaporised. On exiting the heat exchanger, the vapour condenses to form dense, white, non toxic fog , with an incredibly consistent and small particle size of 0.2 - 0.3 micron. The smaller the particle size of the fog, the lower its settling velocity (the rate at which a particle will fall, due to gravity). A fog particle of 0.2 micron in diameter will fall at 8mm/hr, compared to a 2 micron particle, which falls at 468mm/hr. In essence this means that the smaller the particle of fog you produce, the less chance there is that deposition of fog particles will occur. The machine was voted overall winner in Fire Professional magazines Back to Back 1999 fog generator test, against 4 other leading brands. The article describes its performance overall, across the testing criteria, it scored heavily and consistently. Its beautifully made, works well and from what we have seen here makes extremely efficient use of the fluid - a consumable that those of you who are acutely budget conscious will want to keep your eye on. We say you cannot buy a superior quality fog machine than this. The quality of engineering that goes into this machine is unmatched in our industry. Features:
* machine requires minor manual adjustment on control panel to set different operating temperature. Instructions provided with unit.
Also available with external fluid pumping facility Price: from £915.00
Phantom - Oil Based Fog Generators
Ideal for:
The fog produced by our Phantom oil-based fog generators can persist to 180 - 200°C before layering commences, making the unit ideal for hot fire training applications. However, even if training or fog logging in unheated conditions, the fog produced by the Phantom will out-perform all conventional water based alternatives, whilst dramatically reducing the consumption of fog chemical. Typically, users of water based glycol fog systems can experience reductions of 80 - 90% in fog chemical consumption, for similar if not better fog densities. With no routine maintenance required and a choice of heat exchanger capacities to suit fire training needs, it's no wonder fire training centres throughout the world have selected it as their primary fog system. Particle size is a consistent 0.2 - 0.3 microns in diameter, making the unit ideally suited to testing HEPA filtration. Available as 230v or 110v
The Phantom oil based fog machines are also ideally suited to leak and air flow testing for large applications. Their incredibly efficient fluid use (up to one twentieth that of water based machines) and zero maintenance makes it ideal for fixed installations in theme parks and attractions. Oil-based fog is very persistent compared to water-based types and therefore doesn't evaporate or layer even when filling large areas. And as it uses less fluid, the fog produced is even safer.
10 year guarantee We simply say, you cannot buy a superior fog system to this! Price: from £1,120.00
